IT Service Desk Agent (Korean Speaker)

1) Goal of position (Why was this position created?)
 

  • Provide the reliable service of IT Service Desk

  • This position was created to migrate the IT service desk role from Korea to the Shared Service Center Asia /Pacific in Malaysia.


2) Formal prerequisites for the position (e.g. training, experience, education etc.)

  • Fluent Korean and English skills (verbal and written), intercultural knowledge, good communication skills

  • Conceptional knowledge of ITSM and IT processes (i.e Demand / Incident / Problem management)

  • Customer focused mindset

  • Experience of similar position of duty


3) Tasks (Description of main tasks)

  • Ticket handling (Open tickets as 1st contact, assign tickets to 2nd level support)

  • Client environment(HW,SW) trouble shooting

  • PC setup support by remote operation

  • PC/iPhone repair arrangement

  • Administration of Active Role Server for User account, Group and Distribution List.

  • Remote Access Support

  • MPS System operation(Print, Scan, Copy, FAX & EPsoft solution installation), Multi-Functional Printer operation by remote.

  • Non-MPS device (Kyocera, Zebra device) 1st contact support and assign tickets to 2nd level

  • Meeting room environment 1st contact support and assign tickets to 2nd level

  • PC-Off system technical support, assign ticket to 2nd level

  • User guide support for the use of ServiceNOW User Portal(USS)

  • Resource management in Outlook

  • MS TEAMs & Skype client & device operation support.

  • Software assignment by SCCM.(include HANGUL sw)

  • Network issue(Speed, LAN, WAN connection, Guest WiFi) trouble shooting, qip system operation

  • Customer Portal support -

  • Log on issue support on several systems(SAP, Concur, SuccessFactor, Schaeffler Plus One, etc.)

  • General client support (Windows10 / Office 365 / MS Environment)

  • Mobile integration support

  • User manual creation and maintenance

  • Support the creation of IT operational manual

  • IT asset management

  • Data/report creation support for IT report

  • Support IT Korea members for global/regional IT project implementation



In addition to the duties listed above, the position holder must carry out tasks assigned by his/her superior that are essentially related to his/her duties.
