Job Description:

The senior network analyst role is to design, deploy and maintain functional and secure networks for client computer network. These data networks include Network Virtualization, SD WAN, local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), intranets, and extranets. Senior network analysts must have advanced skills to resolve issues that tiers of support have escalated and be up-to-date on the latest network technology.


Job Responsibilities:
  •  Document end-to-end networking solutions to support global deployment of Network services including global backbone WAN, SDWAN, LAN and Data Center networks
  • Works on technical activities as an individual contributor in designing and commissioning networking systems / solutions
  • Lead resource on project implementation and delivery of network technologies
  • Assess, plan and implement new network technologies/infrastructure as well as changes to existing technologies/infrastructure
  • Leverages technical knowledge to develop designs and solutions
  • Provides expertise across technical areas while maintaining proficiency in key technical skills
  • Interfaces with customers and other senior technical professionals in the organization
  • Participates in project design development
  • Assesses impact of significant changes to systems and supporting components
  • Provide expertise for critical production problem resolution
  • Explores new technologies to improve efficiency and maximize performance
  • Acts as an initial decision point for technical solutions within the work group
  • Mentoring team members and addressing user needs

Primary Skill Sets:
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience as a network analyst(candidate needs to have strong experience in Routing)
  • Experience needs to be relevant to CISCO Products
  • Engineering background: experience in designing network components
  • Candidate with strong background in BGP will be close match

Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Works as individual contributor, and is self-driven
  • Customer-first attitude / ability to work in inter-departmental team environments
  • Strong understanding of switching fundamentals and routing fundamentals: distance-vector, link-state, and path-vector routing
  • Solid experience with Network Devices and Network Virtualization technologies (routing, switching, WAN/LAN protocols, Wireless etc.)
  • Familiar with SDWAN deployment
  • Familiar with technologies such as IPS, IDS systems, firewall virtualization, VPN concentrators, DMVPN, certificate handling, encryption methods, NAT (Network Address Translation), DMZ
  • Familiar with Network Automation and performance with focus on capacity planning, performance monitoring and automation. (Good to have)
  • CCNP routing and switching certification will be an added advantage
