Jnior/Field Technician
Salary: RM3,500
- 0.5 - 2 years’ experience in servicing/deploying computer equipment or a technical school certification is required
- Must have proven customer service background
- Individual will be knowledgeable of Windows operating system environment
- Able to comprehend and follow verbal and written technical instructions and scripts
- Qualified resources should have A+ certification or equivalent skill set
- Basic Windows troubleshooting will be involved
- Certification in various hardware platforms may optionally be required for servicing hardware issues
Break/Fix, Disassembly/re-assembly, Troubleshooting
- Basic Storage (EQL & MD3xxx)
- Desktops/ notebooks / tablets/ printers
- Servers
- Switches
Activities / responsibilities
- Fault diagnosis, basic troubleshooting and ensure effective repair of the products
- Delivers upgrades and conversions including replacement of component parts e.g. keyboards, monitors, disks etc.
- Escalate calls within given time guidelines.
- Process paperwork relevant to customer problems/upgrades.
