Salary: RM19,000
The Internet Hosting Analyst provides the internet hosting strategy for the corporate network at a global level by:
- The delivery of Best Practices, e.g. ability to develop, document and apply as required
- Designs solutions with security and controls in line with corporate guidelines
- Supports and participates in projects as required
- Produces design solution and strategies
- Follows Problem and Change management guidelines
- Provide rotational on-call support
- Participate in BCP/DRP development and situation testing as required
- Interact with external suppliers/vendors
Primary Responsibilities
- Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the server & storage devices
- Provides problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
- Implement Automation of task leveraging Powershell
- Provides support for the system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process
Primary skill set :
- Experience in scripting/programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, Java, C, and C#
- Experience in Microsoft Windows O/S (2008 / 2012 / 2016)
- Experience on Virtualization (VMWare and Hyper-V) and DELL Servers
- Experience in WebServer technologies (IIS. Apache)
- Experience with automation tool such as Ansible, Puppet, Terraformer, Chef, Saltstack, etc
Good to haves:
- Knowledge in Large Enterprise Active Directory , Authentication Services and PKI
- Knowledge in Backup/Storage, Network, Terminal Server Services
- Knowledge on System Center Configuration Manager tool (SCCM), System Center Operations Manager Configuration (SCOM)
- Familiar with container application platform e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift
- Strong technical written and communication skills; speak and write English fluently
- Experience in Linux is a plus
